Demi trained in acting with the National Youth Theatre and the London Meisner Company. Since then she has worked across multiple leading arts venues; including spending the past four years at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre. During her time at the Globe she was in the thick of co-ordinating performances as a Music Assistant; in a space where the fourth wall does not exist and groundlings are immersed in the action. She aims to continue to utilise the skills that she has refined in production-based roles with a drive to champion inclusivity and continue to have more creative licence. Being a part of creating theatre with substance that is all-consuming and has a meaningful and self-reflective impact on audiences is her main focus for the future.
