What is the LET Award?

Are you just starting out as a theatre company? Do you have new work you want to take do Edinburgh Fringe, but need some extra support?

The Edinburgh Fringe Festival is where it all began for us as a theatre company and we want to pay it forward! The winner of the LET Award receives mentorship and guidance around venue, finances, production, marketing and more from us and experts throughout the industry to help you reach your full potential at the fringe.

This award is brought to you in collaboration with the wonderful people at The Pleasance and Chloé Nelkin Consulting to give you the kickstart you need to let your company thrive.

The Prize

Winners of the LET Award will receive:

£1300 cash injection to go towards production costs
A guaranteed slot at Pleasance for the Edfringe
Venue deposit covered*
Producing & dramaturgical mentoring from Les Enfants Terribles in the full run-up to Edfringe
3 x 45 minute Edfringe PR mentoring sessions with Chloé Nelkin Consulting
Social media & press promotion from Les Enfants Terribles & The Pleasance
1-2-1 marketing sessions with Les Enfants Terribles’ Marketing Manager

*To secure your venue slot at the fringe, you would usually be required to pay a deposit. We’ll pay this cost upfront and after the deposit has been repaid, the remaining box office money will be split between you & The Pleasance either 60/40 for VAT registered companies or 55/45 for non-VAT registered companies. A venue deposit can cost between £470 and £1750.

A huge congratulations to SkelpieLimmer who won this year’s LET Award with their show Scaredy Fat. They played at the JackDome throughout the Fringe to rave reviews and we can’t wait to follow their journey and see what’s next.
