Puppetry Workshop

Introducing our Professional Skill-Builder Workshops, a series of three half-day masterclasses that focus on a different skillset to help you build up your acting toolkit.

We’re kicking off the series with Puppetry.

Whether you are brand new to puppetry, or an experienced puppeteer, Les Enfants Terribles will guide you through various techniques and skills needed to manipulate a puppet whilst in character. This hands-on, practical masterclass will be run by the  LET team including Creative Director, James Seager, Les Enfants Terribles’ puppetry director on a number of our hit shows (including The Trench, The House with Chicken Legs and Alice’s Adventures Underground).

Bursary Places

We are pleased to offer bursary places on each of the workshops in our series (one for each morning session, one for each afternoon session). These spots are free and are available for anyone who would not be able to afford to attend the workshop otherwise.

We appreciate that there are often a lot of barriers to involvement in the arts, and we don’t want to add to those, so will not be asking for a detailed application form. If you are in a position where you are unable to cover the workshop fee, you can put your name forward for a bursary space. Please refer to our EDI policy here for more guidance on eligibility.

All applications will be entered into a ballot and we will contact you personally 10 days before each workshop to confirm your slot. You may only apply once and that will be eligible for one workshop only.

We are no longer accepting bursary applications for the Puppetry Workshop, however you can still apply for a free space on the other workshops in our series.
