2022's European Capital of culture was celebrated in the Esch region of Luxembourg and we worked with the brilliant minds at BattleROYAL Berlin to create a hybrid event that brought the community together to celebrate.
Across multiple stages throughout the region, 36,000 people were entertained by aerialists, musicians, puppeteers, light shows and theatre which was live-streamed around the world and was even recognised in a video message from the astronauts at the International Space Station.
This was one of the biggest events we’ve helped to create and it was produced virtually through the pandemic, ready to be performed in person when it was safe to do so. The ESCH22 opening ceremony was also awarded gold for hybrid events at The Golden Award of Montreux.
